Join us for a month-long ceramic journey every Wednesday evening in May from 6 PM to 9 PM. We gather in a peaceful, inspiring space on a farm where you’ll learn the art of pottery in a calm, nurturing environment.

Course Details:

  • When: Every Wednesday, 6 PM - 9 PM

  • Duration: 1 month (4 sessions), starting 7th of May.

  • Location: Clay & Yarrow on the Forestree Farm (20 min from Antwerp)

Over the four weeks, we’ll explore different pottery techniques, including:

  • Wheel Throwing: Learn to shape clay on one of our four pottery wheels.

  • Handbuilding: Create unique pieces using your hands and simple tools.

  • Kuriniki: A Japanese meditative technique of hollowing out the clay

Each class is tailored to your needs, and I’ll guide you through every step—from making your piece to glazing and finishing it. By the end of the course, you’ll have your own beautifully crafted pottery.

What You’ll Learn:

  • All the steps of pottery making, from shaping to glazing.

  • Techniques like wheel throwing, handbuilding, and Kuriniki.

  • How to add your personal style to your pottery.

Materials & Pricing:

  • Handmade Glazes by Clay & Yarrow in natural earthy tones.

  • Pottery Wheels: We have four available for you to use.

  • Finished Ceramics: Once your pieces are glazed and finished, 3 kilo of finished work is included. The rest will be weighed at €10 per kilo.

  • Tea/coffee/snacks included

No experience is needed. Whether you’re new to pottery or have some experience. These evenings are designed to meet you where you are. Each class is tailored to your individual needs.
